All field inspectors are inducted in accordance with Velosi's Quality Management System during which qualifications are reviewed and checked, our policies discussed, and an initial assessment made of their capabilities.

The on-going assessment of field inspectors' capabilities and competency is of great importance to Velosi and has a direct positive impact on the quality of the inspection services we provide. Desk and Field Assessments are regularly made and training sessions held with individual inspectors. Field Audits assess the inspectors' performance in terms of reporting; health and safety awareness; presentation; timekeeping; thoroughness of inspection activities; and knowledge of material being inspected.

Our field inspectors are familiar with working in accordance with a wide variety of Standards/Specifications and report forms as a result of our extensive international Client base.

During Vendor Inspection activity our field engineers will verify that all measuring equipment and instrumentation used is within its calibration period and report on the same.

If problems or potential Non Conformance scenarios are encountered during a visit, wherever possible the Client will be contacted directly by telephone to appraise him of the situation, if not possible an exit call will be made to the Velosi Co-ordinator and a Flash report immediately faxed along with the NCR, if applicable, to Velosi for immediate onward email to the client focal point and any other involved parties.
