Manufacturers and supplier of equipment for use in the Republic Of India have to be aware of the Indian Boiler Regulations, known as the IBR.
The IBR is legislation that covers all aspects of material
and equipment utilised in the manufacture of boilers for
use in India, the Indian Government strictly enforces the
IBR and it is not possible for any material or equipment
to be imported into India unless there is a certificate with
the equipment or material that attests to the fact that all
imports meet the IBR, also the certificate must be endorsed
by a Competent Authority designated by the Indian Government.
The Regulations precisely address all the requirements and prior to import into India , all equipment must be certified for use by a Competent Authority designated by the Indian Government.
Velosi has been given that authority and is fully conversant with all the requirements covered by the IBR. Velosi has the advantage of global coverage where materials and equipment may be sourced.
Velosi authorises certification from pipe, accessories to complete boiler installations.
