HotWorks Enclosure - 19 Sep 2008
In line with our growth plans and the company’s goal of becoming a leading integrated Inspection, maintenance and engineering support provider, K2 (A Velosi Group Company) continues to develop its service portfolio and in August 2008, we launched the Hotwork Enclosure system.
The system allows for oil & gas operators to conduct hotwork operations in live process areas (Zones 1 & 2) without the requirement of shutting down the process plant. This provides the client with a safe and extremely cost effective solution for ongoing maintenance works which would usually require time consuming and costly shutdowns.
The enclosures are normally deployed on Offshore Production Platforms, FPSOs and Onshore Petro-Chemical Terminals and such systems are widely used and accepted by the likes of BP, Shell, Talisman, Petronas etc.
