Velosi Support Shell in Libya - 12 Sep 2006
Velosi are the final stages of an inspection contract with Shell in Libya. The work is part of an on-going $1 billion Project on the Marsa el Brega Plant in Libya where Velosi will be at the forefront of various inspection projects. Shell are very pleased with the work that has so far been carried out. The project was a great example of inter-office cooperation within the Velosi Group with the UK office controlling the project via Shell in Holland and Libya. A specialist NDE team from Velosi\'s office in Malaysia carried out TOFD, C-Scan and UT inspections, a team from the UK carried out Plant Assessment and Thermal Imaging and a Crane Inspector was utilised from Qatar. Both the inspection work and organisational work was praised by Shell. |
