Velosi & Aramco ideas development - 17 May 2006
Velosi Engineers attended a meeting with Aramco to address the industry challenges ahead. AOC’s Managing Director indicated that Saudi Aramco has committed to a massive undertaking for the next years and stressed that it will be very challenging for Saudi Aramco and its Inspection Agencies, with projects to the expected value of 13 billion dollars coming on stream. AOCMD highlighted the need for the inspection Agencies to expand into Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Singapore and China due to the current purchasing needs. It is anticipated that there will be a very tight market, where pressure on manufacturers and vendors may jeopardize or compromise quality. |
