FSC Engineering and Project Management contract - 11 Apr 2006
Velosi confirms that it has been awarded the engineering and project management contract for a proposed FSO to be located in Indonesian waters, the vessels owner is negotiating the award of a contract for refurbishment and conversion, The shipyard contract will be worth in the region of USD 100 million and encompasses a conversion to hold up to 700,000 barrels of oil, a crude processing capacity of 100,000 bbls/day. It will include crude stabilization, gas recompression, and water and or gas re-injection, among other things. Work on the vessel could include turret fabrication, flare tower, boilers and integration of product skids |
